This Pirit # 14101 Roof Gutter De-Icing Cable can be used to prevent ice dams from forming on roofs, in gutters, and in downspouts.
The 100' long cable provides drainage channels so when natural thawing occurs, water has a path to flow off the roof and through gutters and downspouts.
For use on pitched roofs with non-combustible tab shingles, in metal gutters, in plastic gutters, in vinyl gutters, or in downspouts. DO NOT USE ON FLAT ROOFS. DO NOT USE FOR CLEARING SNOW AND ICE.
