German-occupied Yugoslavia - Slovenia - Ljubljana

In early April 1941 the Germans and Italians partitioned Slovenia, the southern part being annexed by Italy. Its capital was Ljubljana (Italian: Lubiana). After the capitulation of Italy to the Allies, Germany occupied the whole of Slovenia, and overprinted Italian stamps PROVINZ LAIBACH with an eagle and new value.
