HALLMARK
KEEPSAKE CAR 1957 FORD FAIRLANE 500 CLASSIC AMERICAN CAR, RED, IN BOX, 2007. This auction is for a keepsake ornament from
Hallmark from their Classic American Cars series. This is a Ford officially licensed product and
is the 17th ornament in the series.
Named for Henry Ford’s Fair
Lane Estate near Dearborn, Michigan,
the Fairline arrived in the mid-1950’s as Ford’s premier full-size car. By 1957, the new Fairlane 500 model, with its
sleek profile, distinctive gold accents, and stylish tailfins, was the top of
the line – and a real top performer in showrooms across America. Engine choices ranged all the way up to a
potent 300-horsepower 312 V-8.
Convertible options included both the soft-top Sunliner and the
spectacular Skyliner, “The World’s only Hide-Away Hardtop.” Don Palmiter was the Hallmark Keepsake Artist. Made of die-case metal, dated 2007. The ornament measures 4 ¼” long x 1 ½” wide x
a little under 1” high and weighs a little over 3 ounces unpackaged. It can be displayed as a free-standing
figurine or as an ornament. (SEE
IMAGES). Shipping is $3.50 within the U.S. only. See my other auctions (including other
Hallmark Keepsake (Lionel trains, cars, trucks, lunar, planes, etc.), Carlton
Card and Christmas ornaments), that can be combined to reduce postage costs.
The winning bidder agrees to send payment within 5 days of auction. Any questions, E-mail me. Thank you.
