very rare early work by the Hamburg painter

Technique: oil on cardboard 

Age: 1922

Condition: the painting board is partially coming loose (large bubbles), the painting layer itself is not affected, it would have to be re-glued, the frame has signs of age and is unstable, this would have to 

also be glued, the surface is dirty and the paint layer has surface scratches, some with minimal loss of paint, see photos
