Vintage Gossard Artemis Red Pajama Set with Pants and Short-sleeved Button-down Top with Roses on Collar

Condition:

Great condition. No flaws or scents. In attempts to color-correct them, the photos did not quite capture the exact shade of red, but I think they're pretty close. The elastic waistband is in amazing shape for the age of the pants. I have hand-washed them in a clear, organic, detergent safe for babies....Please feel confident to wear them right out of the packaging.

Fabric, Color, Details, and Comments:

100% nylon, not a super-flexible type, but there is some give. Red with a very slight orange cast. The front buttons down with fabric-covered buttons, and the top one has a tiny clasp underneath it. The rounded collar has rose appliques on each end; the edges have a flat ribbon-like trim that matches the sheen found in the roses. The short sleeves are cuffed, and also have the flat, shiny ribbon-like trim.The pants are elasticized, and standard cut. I do my best to properly date the era when I believe something was made....according to my research, I believe these may date to the 1960's.

Bust: 25" across (50" around)

Waist: 25" across (50" around)

Length, from shoulder top: 25.5"; pit-to-edge: 14.25"

Sleeve circumference, at seam: 17"; at opening: 15"

Waist (unstretched): 14.25" across (28.5" around)....will stretch to 18" across (36" around) 

Hips (laid flat): 20.5" across (41" around)

Rise: 15.5"

Thigh circumference: 28"

Leg opening circumference: 18"

USPS, Priority, with Tracking. If you'd like it shipped first class, kindly write me to say that you'll accept full responsibility for any losses. Ebay will not honor a claim using First Class....once the item leaves the USA port, they will not track it, unless it's Priority or similar. However, the customs number will help you locate it on your side.
