Meade ETX-105 Optical Finderscope Ring Bracket.

This is a 3D printed bracket for a Meade ETX 105 only.

It attaches to the finderscope mounting point on the rear of the OTA and is held straight by a peg which slides into the alignment recess on top of the OTA.

A standard optical finderscope (not provided) fits into the ring and is secured by the 6 X thumbscrews. Once aligned with the scope it provides a stable support for your finderscope.

Really this is a bit old school. I mainly sell brackets for red dot finderscopes but the advantages of the optical are that you have some magnification for a better fix and if you have a right angle finderscope then you don't have to crick your neck so badly looking up.

This item is 3d printed in ABS plastic. It comes in midnight black or midnight black it is specifically fitted to the ETX 105.

Once fitted and aligned (which is a bit fiddly as it involves tightening all 6 thumbscrews while keeping alignment) it does an excellent job of holding the finderscope.

Sadly it ships as Small Parcel which increases it's price a little.

Still pretty reasonable at 10.50 including postage.
