Sturdy and adaptable (and huge!) model aircraft building berth for large scale kits
Suitable for model aircraft between 1/32 and 1/24 (though it will accommodate smaller scales, a smaller building berth like MPB1 is probably more suitable (Linked below). It's purpose is to provide better support and stability for larger scale kits and also accommodate model makers with dexterity limitations. The large M5 bolts and wing nuts do not require tools to tighten and the parts of the berth are large and tactile. It's easy to use and a value to the workbench!
Made from strong 3D printed PLA plastic, colour grey. Owing to how the parts are made, some surface imperfections may be present, though these do not effect the functionality of the kit. You can always try painting it if you wanted to customise it!
Horizontal and vertical adjustment is made by positioning the stands and brackets and setting in place using and M5 bold and wing nut. No tools are necessary to construct the building berth, though you may wish to use a spanner to tighten bolts that little extra.
Full kit contains:
- 1 x base plate
- 4 x brackets
- 4 x stands/supports
- 8 x M5 bolts
- 8 x M5 wing nuts
- 1 x 29cm length of foam tape (10mm width)
The building berth does not come with a model kit as shown in some of the images, these are just used as examples.
Product will be supplied unassembled. Assembly is simple, there are instructions included in the item images. Printed instructions are not supplied in the package.
Postage will be via 2nd class in a padded envelope. The smaller parts will be contained within a ziplock bag.
