Here comes an authentic
reissue of an early 1960s Fender Jazz Bass from the Fender Custom Shop in
Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst. With the specs of these re-issues, the Fender Custom
Shop strictly adhered to the model from 1960. A light alder body ensures that
the CS Jazz Bass does not cause any back problems, even after long time of
stage. The quartersawn maple neck has the typical "U" profile of the
first models. Two hand-wound Custom Shop 60s Jazz Bass pickups, together with
the first-class choice of wood, form the basis for a powerful and articulated
sound with lots of dynamics. Another typical feature of this early first
series, as built from March 1960 to about February 1962, were the concentric
"stack" knobs, which allowed individual volume/tone control for each
PU. General
