Vintage Wooden Woodpecker Bird Door Knocker Pull String Folk Art 11.5 X 2.25.

This door knocker is unique, because the hand painted, wooden woodpecker is mounted on a hollow wooden box. When you pull the string, both a beak and the tail of the woodpecker, hit the hollow box and make an echoing sound that is close to the real thing. It is an excellent condition, and has double slots on the back for sturdy mounting. The pull cord is made of strong leather.
