Tubeless compatible 26" rim brake wheels are pretty rare but these are high quality and strong enough for MTB, commuting and light touring duties. A bit wder than the norm to suit for wider tyres.

Rims are the new Kinlin XM25T with a 26mm outer width with 21mm inner width. Suitable for MTB tyre sizes between 1.8" and 2.35"  Road tyres from 32mm and wider are also suitable.

Presta valve tubes will fit and the rim can be used tubeless if desired with the appropriate conversion kit.

Hubs are the strong and long lived lShimano Deore M610 in black and fit QR skewer bikes.

Suitable for 8-11 speed MTB cassettes and 8-10 speed road cassettes. Can also be used with a 7 speed cassette with a additional spacer. A straightforward rugged hub which can be user serviced with simple tools.

The wheels come with Shimano quick release (QR) fixings included

The 32 spokes are high quality Italian made silver ACI Alpina double butted type. Double butted spokes are both lighter and stronger than standard plain gauge spokes. Made from 100% stainless steel and fastened with solid brass nipples. Most seemingly 'cheaper' wheels will either use poorer quality far-eastern spokes, heavier and weaker plain gauge spokes or both.

The wheels are built using a 3x (3 cross) pattern which is the best compromise between strength without excess weight.

Total wheelset weight is a pretty decent 1850g.
