Brand new 24" version of Stans Mk4 Crest wheels for junior/youth riders. Legendary fast and light wheelset for XC, XC Race, Gravel, CX and recreational use. These are the stronger 28 spoke version. For minimum weight look at our other listing for a 24 spoke pair Rims are the brand new Mk 4 Stans Crest made from aluminium alloy. Wider and stronger and even slightly lighter than the Stans Crest Mk3 rim with a 25mm internal width. The spoke drilling is offset by 1.5mm which improves wheel strength. Disc brake specific. Designed for MTB tyre widths between 2.00 and 2.30 and all wide Gravel/CX tyres. New discreet graphics. Hubs are lightweight Novatec D791SB/D792SB 6 bolt disc or the slightly lighter centrelock version. Suitable for 8, 9,10 and 11 speed Shimano cassettes and 9,10 and 11 speed SRAM MTB cassettes with a 11T small cog. For SRAM 12 speed MTB cassettes with a 10T small cog please specify a XD Driver freehub. No 12s Microspline version available except with Hope Pro5 hubs. The front hub has a choice of QR, 12mm or 15mm thru axle and the rear hub has a choice of QR or 12x142. 28 spokes per wheel are the high quality black Sapim Leader 2.0. Made from 100% stainless steel and fastened with black alloy nipples. The wheels are built using a 2x (2 cross) pattern which is the best compromise between strength without excess weight. Total wheelset weight is around1440g. Centrelock version 25g lighter.
