This iPad was my wife’s, which she mainly kept on her nightstand to read and browse before bed, so it’s never been outside:

(always used with case and screen protector)

According Coconut Battery analytics (please see picture), the battery cycle count is 1086. In practice, the battery does fully charge but then drains quickly. Realistically, you’ll have to charge the iPad at least once or twice during the day depending on your usage. Or keep it plugged on your desk, nightstand or in the kitchen as you’re preparing meals.
