Antique set of 4 pharmacy bottles apothecary glass with gold leaf. Beautiful set of four pharmaceutical bottles, Circa early 1900’s. Note the exquisite gold leaf framed labels which make them real collectors items (and add value).
TR.ALOES - very minimal wear on bottom of stopper, very fine crack inside of glass in neck of bottle - does not affect the bottle in anyway as like an inclusion in a rock.
TR.HYDRASTIS - some wear/damage to bottom of stopper
SP.CAMPH - cannot remove stopper
VIN.PEPSIN - dark stain inside, cannot remove stopper
Embossed on the bottom of the bottles is the inscription W. T. CO. B. (Whitall Tatum Company) thus the bottles can be dated back to 1901 - 1924 from this inscription.
They are all empty but some have a wonderful slight residue of its past contents lining the inside of the bottle.
Dimensions: 18cms tall and 5.7cms diameter base
Note: One particular bottle - VIN.PEPSIN has been stained inside as its contents left a dark residue over the many years it has been stored. The stopper on this bottle is stuck and cannot be removed, hence risk of breaking the bottle.
SP.CAMPH has also a stopper that cannot be removed.
TR.HYDRASTIS has some wear on bottom of its stopper - Please view carefully the photos as these form part of the description.
