Vintage Alsatian Hexagon Stoneware Bottle, Old Trades of Paris, the "Water Carrier". The bottle is in excellent condition, showing no chips or cracks. It has a small, dark imperfection/blemish on the backside of the bottle, pictured clearly in the last photo. On the top half, the bottle reads, "Metiers de Vieux Paris." In English, the trades of old Paris. The bottom half reads, "Porteur d'eau." In English, the water carrier. The stopper is made of porcelain and has a few small chips/imperfections, pictured. The lip of the bottle shows light wear, pictured. The maker's mark on the bottom of the bottle is an image of a crane/400 C, pictured. Item measures 12" H x 3.5" D.
