Item: Fine Original WWI British Royal Artillery Officers Tunic with Belt Dated 1918.    Fine quality British Royal Artillery High Ranking Officers Tunic with tailors label Guthrie & Valentine of Cork Street London dated June 1918 belonging to Lieutenant Colonel Neville Eliot.  The tunic has all original Royal Artillery Brass Buttons with Bronze Collar flaming grenade badges, watch pocket above the right hand hip pocket.  Medal ribbon bar MBE. British War Medal, Victory Medal.  Lieutenant Colonel Neville Eliot was born 25th October 1880 and died in France in 1957.  Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, 2nd Lieutenant 1899, Lieutenant 1901, Captain 1906, Major 1914 served in Malta 1899 to 1903, India 19903 landed in France 5th April 1916.  Major Brevet Lieutenant Colonel Royal Garrison Artillery. Large size. A little old blood staining on left hand shoulder collar and inside of tunic.  There is two pieces of paper that came from the previous owner, which i have photographed and will be included, I have not researched personally. Becoming harder to find high ranking officers tunic.  PLEASE NOTE THE CAP DOES NOT COME WITH THE SALE OF THE TUNIC AND BELT, THE CAP WILL BE SOLD SEPERATELY.

 

Condition:  Good condition a little old blood staining on left hand shoulder collar and inside of tunic.
