Vintage c1910 Harrods Doxa Goliath 8 Day Leather Cased Travel Clock Brevete 33236

A stunning rare Harrods leather cased clock with Doxa 8 day movement that is ticking away happily and keeping good time for its age though as with any vintage timepiece it would benefit from a service. The clock face is signed 'Harrods, 8 Days, Swiss Made' and the movement is stamped with the Brevet (patent number) 33236 which is attributed to the manufacturer Doxa. The stunning silvered face has some age related discolouration with Arabic numerals and blue steeled hands, the enamelled bezel is equally beautiful with the famous Harrods green colour and Gilt cross pattern. The green leather case has some discolouration and wear in places and would look fantastic if treated with some green polish

It measures approx 9.7cm tall when open, when closed it measures approx 10.5cm square
