Item Condition: This was an estate sale find from a jewelry maker/crafter. There is little-to-no information on the spool. Based on my research and asking folks at a variety of crafting/fabric stores, this is the best information I have. Measurements are approximate. Thread width approximately 0.25-0.28 mm; spool height - 8 inches; spool thickness top - 3/4 inch; spool thickness bottom - 3/4 inch; wound thread height - 6 1/2 inches; and wound core thread thickness - 3/4". Spool is hard plastic with hollow center. Inner circumference of thread is 14 inches, outer circumference is 21 inches. (This is for those mathematicians and engineers who want to calculate the yardage. There is a weight on the label of 3.92 lb. It may represent the tare weight of the thread, but uncertain. The weight of the spool and thread combined is 5 lb. 10.2 oz. I included a photo of a piece of thread I removed alongside a scale. Must see ALL photos.
