Hello.  I am offering a magnificent vintage Rosenthal Germany Peynet mermaid with a male lover porcelain tall vase from my own personal collection.

It is extremely hard to find and is the only one exactly like it currently for sale on ebay.

The vase's background color is a glossy white.

It is oval with a slightly wider section across the middle.

The top half is done in black while the bottom half is done in gold.

The vase's detailing is exceptional.

Its front features the male Rosenthal Peynet "Lover" who has caught a mermaid while fishing.

He appears to be enamored with her and is offering her a flower.

Both figures are draped in garlands of tiny hearts.

He is so distracted that he fails to notice the three previously caught fish jumping out of his basket and back into the water.

It is unclear how the mermaid feels about being caught by the Lover.

There are other fish, an octopus, and a jellyfish in the water.

It's a sunny day with a few clouds.

There's a castle off in the distance behind the mermaid.

There is also a large boat in the water in the background behind the Lover.

There are no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, paint loss, restorations, or repairs - no issues whatsoever.

 

The mermaid with the Lover vase is in mint condition.

The piece is immaculate, inside and out.

Its dimensions are 12-3/8" h  x  4-1/2" w  x  3-1/4" d.

The bottom of the vase is stamped Rosenthal GERMANY Studio Line (the name of the pattern) along with the company logo and the Peynet signature.

The mermaid with the Lover vase displays beautifully and is sure to make you smile.

It would be perfect for a bathroom, a bedroom, or a beach house.
