VINTAGE BUDDY L PRESSED STEEL CAR HAULER W/CARS AND BOX.

HERE IS JUST ANOTHER FANTASTIC TOY FROM THE “PA TOYS OF TIMES PAST” COLLECTION AND IS THIS VINTAGE BUDDY L CAR HAULER FROM THE EARLY 1960'S. SHOWS BASICALLY NO PLAY WEAR. ALL MINT CONDITION PIECES. TRUCK IS A BEAUTY. THERE WERE TWO VARIATIONS OF THIS TRUCK WITH ONE HAVING THE BLUE COLORED SLIDE OUT RAMP AND ONE LIKE THIS ONE HAVING THE TWO SILVER RAMPS TABBED AT THE END TO FIT IN THE SLOTS IN THE REAR OF THE TRUCK. AS WITH MOST OF THESE TRUCKS WHEN IT WAS IN THE TURNING POSITION, THE TRAILER HITS THE REAR OF THE CAB. CAUSING CHIPS AND LOSS OF PAINT. A TYPICAL MANUFACTURER FLAW. EVEN THOUGH THE TRUCK IS IN SUCH EXCELLENT SHAPE THE CARS DO HAVE SOME ISSUES. THE 3 CARS ARE REALLY NICE BUT THE STATION WAGON, AS SHOWN, IS MISSING THE FRONT END, THE REAR WINDOW PILLAR, AND HAS THREE BRASS SCREWS OUT OF THE FOUR HOLDING THE FRAME TO THE BODY. THE FORD RANCHERO IS TOTALLY INTACT. THE CHEVY IMPALA HAS A FRONT WINDOW PILLAR MISSING. OTHERWISE, ALL IN GOOD SHAPE. THE BOX HAS WEAR FROM AGE AND HAS NO END FLAPS ON THE ONE END BUT STILL VERY NICE TO EVEN HAVE THE ORIGINAL BOX IT CAME IN.
