  3. Put in the new earbud and wait for 30-60 minutes
  4. Press and hold the button on back of the charge case and wait for it to flash white
  5. Connect your phone to AirPods

You can use the model number of your AirPods to find out which generation of AirPods you have.

 

Look in Settings:

 

1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.*

2. Find your AirPods in the list (for example, "John's AirPods"). 

3. Tap the More Info button next to your AirPods, and you'll see the model number.
