PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR FURTHER IMAGES

Meccano Magazine was a classic magazine for boys that ran for decades and covered not only Meccano model making but also had a wide variety of other non-fiction articles focusing on engineering, trains, planes and automobiles. These Pre-War issues are particularly interesting. Additionally, the adverts are wonderful!

In this issue:
  • Cover Picture - Huge Hydraulic Press
  • Building a 13-Span Railway Bridge - India - Kalabagh Bridge - River Indus
  • Cottages Where George Stephenson Lived - Wylam-on-Tyne and Killingworth Days
  • The Planets and their Atmospheres - Walter S Adams
  • One Thousand Miles Up The Amazon - Thrills of a Brazilian Cruise
  • Two New Fokker Aeroplanes - F.XXXVI & F.XX
  • Stroudley Gladstones of the LBSC
  • Tales of a South African Railway by A. H. Betteridge - Vryburg-Bulawayo, Rhodesia Railways
  • The Railways of Switzerland

Pages 761 - 848

The magazine measures 28 x 21 cm

Condition: Good - the magazine is in good vintage condition, the staples have rusted making the pages and the covers loose. There is some damage to the covers at the staples and there is evidence of reading wear, creasing to the covers and the magazine is slightly tatty at the edges of the pages. Considering the magazine is approaching 100 years old, its condition is good but certainly not perfect. The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.

I accept returns, and if you'd like to see further pictures, or any questions - just ask!
