In the latest generation of our lightly insulated UMA Knickers, we have incorporated some new functions and textiles. The highlight is probably our hipClick design, which offers a perfect fit without any straps. The same happened to the leg cuffs: They have a new design that is lighter and more breathable. Our updated UMA GT C2 pad is now tailored for more upright, less aggressive riding positions - ideal for a comfortable ride over long distances.
The technologies at a glance:
- hipClick: The waist design combines layers of elastic material and mesh. As a result, it offers a particularly high opacity that does not constrict, stabilizes the main parts of the knickers and keeps the padding in place.
- Shock Absorb Damping Mono 9: Compressive, endurance engineered layers of 9mm thick foam. A thermoformed cut reduces annoying transitions and friction
- goldenGate: A stitch pattern that allows the pad to move freely - with you instead of against you
- 3D waffles: A patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and does not add excess weight
