Rare - Modded 6-inch DigDug Mini Arcade with total of 6 games (also modded by adding a secondary clicky-style button).

Details:

This ultra rare 6-inch MyArcade/DreamGear mini arcade machine has been modded to unlock a total of 6 games. Additionally an extra “clicky” type button has been added to the control panel so that you not only play the unlocked Rolling Thunder game (which requires two buttons) but you can ALSO choose between using the standard soft-touch (non-clicky) button or the newly added clicky-style button on many of the other games that only require one button to play.

The games are selected via two switches on the back of the arcade. The near the top selects Bank 1 or Bank 2 and the other switch selects between the 3 games in the selected bank. Each combination of the 2-way switch on the top and the 3-way switch on the side pick a different game so it’s easy to quickly pick whichever game you want to play.

If you want to switch to a different game, you just need to select it (via the back switches) and then hit the reset button located right above the joystick.

This mini arcade can be powered via 4xAA batteries or through the Micro-USB port.

Note: The built-in games were created by dreamGear from ports of other systems (probably NES) and as such they are not perfect replicas of the ones you would see on a full sized arcade. Therefore they may look or sound somewhat different than the original arcade games… however, they are still alot of fun!

Condition notes: Since the side decals needed to be removed in order to mod the unit, they had to be hot-glued back on, which came out less than perfect. Take a look at the pictures for details. Beyond this the arcade has some other slight signs of use but overall is in really great condition.

The auction is for the mini-arcade only, no box, cables or instructions are included.

This is a very tricky device to mod and therefore extremely hard to find for sale on anywhere.

 So buy it before it’s gone!
