Nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, the company was primarily focused on design and manufacturing of ladies handbags and accessories. Over the years Collins enjoyed great success as one of America’s finest handbag and accessories designers and manufacturers. Collins bags were a must have item for the fashionable as well as those looking for a special gift. Enid Collins was gifted with a unique talent and an original approach to design. Over time, Collins resonated with customers as a fine American Fashion brand as well as a Folk Art icon. Collins handbags were sold nationwide through representations and exclusive retailers including Neiman Marcus.

The hand crafted Collins Jewel bags remain among the most coveted vintage bags within the United States and international collector communities. For decades, the Collins original factory has been receiving fan letters and requests from collectors for restoration or repair of their Collins Jewel Bags. Today, despite a long period of inactivity, collectors from United States, Europe and Japan continue to search for and purchase vintage Collins bags through internet sites and Collins fans continue to express their passion for the brand and its originality through blogs and social media.
