A new silhouette from the good people of Nike. The Nike Free Viritous is constructed with a breathable mesh seamless toe box and a neoprene bootie working alongside a flywire lacing system
along the side panels of the upper with weaved laces in order to ensure a snug fit. Sitting on top of a free sole unit, this new silhouette is finished off with a swoosh embossed rigid heel counter.
In 2002, Nike examined a group of men and women with pressure measuring insoles taped to their feet using high-speed cameras to capture images of each foot in motion. The resuts yielded a profound understanding of the foot's natural landing angle, pressure and toe position, allowing Nike designersto build an unconventional running shoe from the inside out.
