This item belonged to a former Tiara Glass consultant. It was used for display purposes and stored very well with her collection.

Indiana/Tiara Glass was known for its themed glassware . . . color/pattern.  The Tiara line ran from 1970 until 1998, when it came to an end.  I'm not getting into and covering the legacy of Indiana Glass and the ins/outs of why over 100 years of three generations of glassmaking came to an end in Dunkirk, IN.  This listing, however, brings you an opportunity to own a piece . . . or replace . . . or complete . . . a pattern of a piece of America's glassmaking history.  The manufacturer of many of the Tiara Exclusives glass pieces incorporated techniques and tools of the early Colonial days.  Many items were blown and shaped by hand, so variations in size, shape and color brought real individuality to each item brought to the market.  Much of Tiara's line was hand made, some being pressed into molds dating back many, many years.   It is my understanding that each of Tiara's items were exclusive and will not be found in any other line.   I am listing these items with an understanding of information I have gathered from Indiana/Tiara Glass's history across the internet and their catalogs in hand.
