Offered is a Manning Bowman Art Deco metal teapot, which I believe is stainless steel.  It is definitely not chrome (wrong color) or silver-plate (no tarnish).  There is overall surface wear--discoloration, speckling.  The zoom magnifies any defects greatly!  There are no deep scratches.  I see one pinpoint ding on the side; no dents except on the bottom.  There is a surface chip on the wood handle near where it is attached to the metal--see fifth photo.  Most of what I have described is not immediately apparent--this teapot presents very well.

There are two prongs on each side of the pot which would allow it to sit on a warming cradle...sadly, the cradle is missing.

Manning Bowman went defunct in 1945, so this teapot is definitely before that.  Great collectable piece!
