To use, simply place your wire between the two machined jaws at the tool's head, select the desired exposed wire length (1/4-inch to 3/4-inch) using the flip-up red gauge stopper, and squeeze. The two jaws clamp down, automatically selecting the right tension to hold the wire without damaging it, and pull insulation away. The result is a perfectly stripped wire. The tool is compatible with 10-24 gauge wires, and includes a micro-adjustment thumb wheel for setting tension and clearance for smaller gauge wires beyond 20 AWG.
