Description -  An original drypoint etching by John Knowles Hare ( 1884 - 1947 ) The etching signed in the lower right " J. Knowles Hare " and titled in the lower left " Sympathy . The etching framed with mat in a period frame . The reverse with a hand written label stating that the etching was a limited edition , no 3 of 15 . This a an estate fresh etching that descended in the same home probably since new . 

Dimensions - plate size: 11 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches , Frame 17 1/4" x 13 1/2" 

Age - ca 1930 + -

Condition - Some age toning , backing paper torn .
