  • This sumptuous and heavily embroidered textile was made to be placed over the door of the Ka‘ba. The piece here is of black  with  silk appliqués embroidered with Copper plated with silver and gold-gilt wire.  The curtain was made at the Dar al-Kiswa in mecca
This is a model  a copy the same as orgenal of a sitarah(‘curtain’) for the door of the Ka‘bah that was made in Mecca and presented to the Ka‘bah by the ‘Custodian of the Two Holy Sanctuaries’, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud
