A superb & hard-to-find antique handmade Belgian Duchesse lace wreath and bow ornament or applique in white...
Displayed in a variety of applications for inspiration, this dainty little wreath is useful for framing or embellishing holiday ornaments, hats, apparel, pillows, lamp shades, picture frames, etc. It features an elegant floral motif showcasing petite handmade Duchesse bobbin lace florets all around, and is finished off with a bow along the top.
Oval-shaped, measures overall with slight variation ~2&1/8 inches wide, ~3&1/8" long, and finished all around with slight differences in bow details/shape/length.
There are a total of 19 Duchesse lace wreaths available for purchase, so there is slight variation in the overall width/length of each wreath and the overall shape/length/drape of the bow. Each little wreath is uniquely beautiful & slightly different. Though no two wreaths are identical, all are beautiful...Wreaths will be randomly selected.

Appears unused. In overall very good condition with occasional microscopic scraggly threads, very mild fraying mostly along the backside, and a rare tiny break/mend which is difficult to appreciate with the naked eye.
