This antique mantle clock just came back from our clock maker. It has been serviced and runs very well. It is an American 30 hour movement, time only no brand name. The exciting part of this clock is the front, which depicts a hunter with his dogs holding a fox. There is a castle on a hill in the background, so it may be a Scottish depiction. There is a very old label in the inside back of the clock that bears the initials F M and JG and Trade Mark. It is very faint but still visible. Condition of the case is good: there is one flaw: there is a hairline in the glass near the top. this is not noticeable when the clock is upright, but showed up when I put the clock on its back to look at the label inside. The clock maker dated it 1890 - 1910. It comes with key and pendulum. The front and base surround look to be repainted.
Measurements are: 11 7/8" tall, 7 7/8" by 3 1/2" base.
