RARE! BETTS BIG BOOK 1958,TEACHERS Display Reader Dick Jane Type Vibrant Colors!

The Betts ABC's Big Book Stories is a Giant-sized Dick and Jane Type Teachers used for beginning group reading with students before they were given their own individual pre-primers. The illustrations are bright and colorful beautifully illustrated by Erna Ward.  This is one of the teaching aids for the Betts Basic Readers, featuring the children, Sue and Jimmy with their Puppy Pepper and their Parents. Has a Roane County Schools stamp. American Book Company, 1958, 65 years old.

 
A green cloth hard cover ring style binder, measuring 19" wide x 26" high, with table top easel snaps, and seven four page sections (28 pages total).  This is a beautiful piece of memorabilia from 1958 for the Collector in all of us! Pages are suitable for display, framing or use with homeschooling.
