Genuine 1940s pin up college girl blouse

This belonged to my mother at the end of WW2 - the late 1940s

It is very sheer nylon - gals wore their best full slips under these blouses

The front bodice has soft pintucks in the nylon. Buttons up with round clear plastic buttons that mimic glass

It is softly fitted at the waist and meant to be worn tucked in a long straight or full skirt

Fabric is palest of pinks - however this has been hanging in a closet for probably 50 years, and the pink is dull from age and should get more attractive with a careful hand wash

No flaws - hard to find vintage clothing in such nice condition - a real treasure!

My mother was a very young and petite college girl when she wore this so I would compare it to a todays small or extra small - It is delicate and could rip if you are larger than these petite measurements
