This is a wonderful Large (Double Sided 18x24") Original watercolor painting from the  mid-1950s to the early 1960s

when the artist, Alice J. Behrle  (1899-1997) was most prolific.

Features a pair of wonderfully rendered chickens with an olive green spatter overlay on one side and simple still life with an apple and 2 vessels on the other side.

The chickens are rendered completely freeform in the paint only.

There are minimal visible pencil guidelines under the paint on the still life - both of these techniques are a  hallmark of the artists very fluid and relaxed style

It is suitable for dry mount or matting.

A Unique and one-of-a-kind Original art piece to frame any way you want and beautify your surroundings.

It's painted on very heavy (probably Arches) watercolor paper, and will ship flat.

Please Note - while I tried to capture the colors as accurately as possible the actual colors may vary slightly  from what you see on your monitor. I have no control over this.
