VINTAGE SILVER PIN DISH

A very pretty filigree silver pin dish, decorated with repoussé flowers and leaves around the edge with a lightly hammered centre. Made from Continental silver and marked on the base 800 and and some initials. (HS?) It is possible this Rococo style piece originates from Germany.

This delicate dish would be useful on the dressing table or in the bathroom for storing pins, earrings, rings or coins etc. It would also make an attractive tea light candle stand. This dish would make the perfect gift for a wedding, silver anniversary, Christmas plus many other occasions.
