Mini Red Apple

Known as the "Mini Red Apple", it produces very small fruit (See photos). Thought to be

 a natural cross between Red delicious and a Gala apple. Bite sized and perfect for

 snacking.

When compared to a Granny Smith apple the size is clearly seen. At least 4-5 mini

 apples to the size of a standard large apple.

The tree is a medium sized, very attractive ornamental shrub, commonly grown both as

an ornamental tree and for the delicious mini red fruit.

Easy to grow, drought and frost hardy.

Perfect for use as a garden fruit tree shrub and a valuable food plant in your

garden. We have seeds of Granny Smith and Tropical apples too! Plant them all for

 increased cross pollination.

Food use

Fruit may be eaten fresh whole or juiced or dried for adding to trail mixes.

Juice may be made into sauces, cocktails, syrups, salad dressings, marinades,

relishes and jams.

Fruit is a valuable source of dietary fibre and vitamins K, C and folate.

Propagation

You will receive 10 fresh seeds.

Seed is generally sown to the depth of the seed in well drained sterilised medium and kept

moist, but not wet.
