It is a high pressure fiberglass laminate. It was originally manufactured for printed circuit boards because its high strength and chemical resistance, low density and moisture absorption, and strong electrical insulation properties allow it to maintain its performance in wet conditions.

Also ideal for knife handles and firearm handles because of its gripping texture - it can also be polished, sanded or sandblasted, making it highly versatile in crafting applications.

Hazards: Glass resin is made by stacking layers of glass cloth, soaking them in epoxy resin, and heating until the resin cures. As a result, processing this material produces small glass fiber particles that can damage the respiratory system if inhaled and can lead to the development of lung cancer. Proper respirator is recommended in a well-ventilated environment when cutting or grinding this material.
