The cute character is the prairie dog "Chikamaru".

“Hayakaken” means "Because it's fast" in Hakata dialect.

Also, "ken" means a ticket in Japanese.

This card can be used not only in Fukuoka but also in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hokkaido and Nagoya in the same way as Suica.
