Dainese Sport Master Gore-Tex Boots Motorbike Motorcycle Waterproof Black

I ordered a pair of these boots on-line and they arrived next day so no problem at all with the usual impressive service from SBS. However they were too tight so I took a trip to Boston to try the next size up which was a better fit. Unfortunately after wearing them for a longer period at home I still found the boots were too tight around my calf which also made closing and opening the zip difficult. To go up another size would mean they would be too big in the foot so these will also be returned. The boots are well made as you would expect from the price point but it appears my legs and trotters are not comparable with the boots which is a great shame as I really liked the look and the fact they were designed for trousers to be worn over rather than tucked in.

Have not been big buyer of Dainese gear in the past but have been really impressed with these boots. Great to wear under leathers or bike Jeans as even my slightly fitted jeans slide over the shin protector nice and easy. The zip fastening at the rear feels nice and secure and less of a faff compared to boot like Sidi which I also own. There was very little break in period for me but your mileage may vary. They manage to keep your feet surprisingly warm on a chilly day despite not being marketed as a winter boot and also fairly cool during summer at the same time so will cover a good range of temperatures in the middle. Have been fortunate enough to not test the waterproof properties of the boot to their full but would imagine they hold up well if the wind protection is anything to go by. The price point of these feel very good for what you get. Will defintely not hesitate to buy more Dainese boots in the future.

Awesome! These boots are very, very comfy. Perfect for the British climate, they blend comfort across a wide temperature range, superb feel, and protection against damaging lateral movement (something most boots miss). Plus, the ease with which they slip under my trouser leg makes them hassle-free. Regarding protection, they are among the few Gore-Tex boots with effective ankle bracing. However, the boots' sole (excuse the pun) downside is their level 1 CE ratings. I love the Distortion Control System - it protects against harmful twisting (I reckon better than my Astars SMX boots), yet the Dainese boots are fine to walk in. Sizing-wise, they are similar to Alpinestars - typically Italian - and narrower than Daytona. Often, earlier models suffered broken zips. But this latest version has a large-gauge (i.e. strong) genuine YKK zipper.

Boots arrived very quickly just before Xmas. These were bought to replace a pair of Sidi ST gore-tex boots that developed a leak after about 4 years use. The Dainese boots are a lot mote comfortable to walk in. They're a little shorter on the leg but offer good protection none the less. I can fit them over or under my Dainese leathers which is handy. Knowing they're 100% waterproof and backed by gore-tex' lifetime warranty is ideal. I'd recommend these over the Sidi's for comfort alone.
