About HORA:

With a  tradition of almost 70 years, a turnover of 5 million euros and about 300 workers, HORA is the biggest factory for bowed instruments and guitars in Europe. Hora was founded in 1951 by master luthier Roman Boianciuc who built the first violin in Reghin.

The concern for the environment made HORA use more and more water based lacquers which suit even better not only the traditional instruments but also the guitars and even violins. The finish with this kind of lacquers produces open and powerful sound of the instrument.

The spruce and maple wood is from Romanian Carpathians Mountains seasoned naturally for 5-10 years. Exotic wood like mahogany, rosewood, ebony is also used.

In the last years, HORA has had more and more success with traditional ethnic instruments like mandolins, mandolas, Irish bouzoukis, cobzas, domras, balalaikas, dulcimers, psalteries, cimbaloms, panflutes. There are not many producers of such instruments at a professional standard.

Express your interest for one of the above and I will list it at best price.

The musical instruments produced by HORA are quality confirmed by ISO9001 certificates and comply with the demands of a very broad spectrum of customers. They provide support to beginners, are reliable for experienced players and give inspiration to virtuosos.

POSTAGE

I will post worldwide. As the Romanian Post has different prices, please ask for postage cost, for example a simple signed for postage will be 35- 50 USD for Europe and maximum 120USD  - for far islands and New Zeeland.

USA shipping cost is 49 USD.

Canada shipping cost is 55 USD.

The delivery time is shorter than it appears on Ebay by default, from my experience usually it is around 12-15 days for USA and 8-10 days for Europe. You will have a tracking number.

Note: Import taxes, duties, bokerage fees and charges are not included in the price of the item or cost of shipping. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. For more information regarding these charges, please contact your local customs department office.

The instruments are sent in mint condition, wrapped in bubbles, with polystyrene plate top and bottom.

If item arrives damaged because of improper handling or it is lost I will NOT be made responsible unless the buyer will report this at the local post office and give me a registration number of the claim.

So please check your instrument at arrival.
