Antique 1840 Leonard Reed & Barton pewter teapot with wooden handle.

An antique tin teapot in excellent condition with a wooden handle. There is a dent in the lower part of the spout, which I marked with a red circle.

In Taunton, Massachusetts, Henry C. Reed and Charles E. Barton were employed by Gustavus Leonard in 1828, and the company changed its name to Leonard, Reed & Barton in 1835. After Mr. Leonard's death in 1845, the company changed its name to Reed & Barton, where it remains today.
