For the best result use Hot Air Gun but if there is not Hot Air Gun available you can use a hair dryer to evenly heat up the wrap to shrink until it is tightly wrapped around the battery pack.

How to choose the size?
If you want to convert flat width to round width, multiply flat width by 2/pi.
To convert flat width to circumference, multiply by 2.
The circumference is what you may compare to the circumference of the item you want to wrap. You will need a circumference of heat shrink larger than the circumference of the item.
You can use much larger heat shrink because of the large shrinkage ratio of PVC heat shrink. Slowly apply heat due to the low melting temperature of PVC.
