This bird is about 8" long, and just under 5" deep, and is about 5 1/4" tall.  I cannot find any damage to this piece, it still has it's original Imperial sticker.  This is a heavy piece, weighing over 2 lbs itself.

Designed by artist Virginia Barger Evans. 1894-1983. Miss Evans was extensively educated and one of the best trained artists of her generation. She graduated the Carnegie institute of fine arts and received a residency at Louis Comfort Tiffany foundation located inside his mansion, Laurelton Hall, where she worked with many talented artists.
In 1942, she was hired by the Imperial glass company, to design a special line of glassware. She named these Asian inspired pieces Cathay and several were displayed at the Metropolitan museum of art at their 1950 exposition of 20th century glass.
Here is your chance to have a seldom seen piece of this beautiful glass designed by one of the 20th centuries most talented artists at a most reasonable price.

Paypal accepted.  We do not add a handling fee, the system gives a discount when we print the label but some of that will go towards insuring the package since this is glass.

Thanks for viewing our auction and hope you have a blessed day.
