Damariscotta Pottery is a small pottery shop on the coast of Maine. Each piece is unique and hand-painted by their talented staff. Since 1978, this heavy and brilliantly colored Majolica-style earthenware pottery has been a favorite. Every spring, D.P.'s 10 resident artists make a roomful of plates, bowls, mugs, vases, and other items; once they're done with that batch, that's all they sell for the whole year, until it's gone.

Hand painted. This candlestick was acquired by my family in the early 1990’s (I am sorry that I don’t have the partner candlestick to offer). It is coming from a loving home and family that is close friends with the owners. And the unique and special aspect of it is that it from the early 1990’s - it captures a snapshot of history.
