No cable. Card is pretty clean without any obvious signs of damage.

According to the documentation that I can find, the card performs a self test and turns off the red LED after the test passes. This activity is evident when I power on the computer. The LED turns on momentarily and then turns off. I can't find any diagnostic software that tests just the transporter card and I don't have an active Corvus network to complete any tests on this card.
