Here we have custom made Wallet Chain which consists of one Titanium carabiner medium size 1-3/4in/44.45mm length and one stainless small size carabiner clasp. The main titanium carabiner is connected to a Titanium (Ti)Turning Fork Rotating Swivel. The stainless steel link chain ⛓ by itself measures 24”, 609.6mm and has a mirror finish. The total length for this Biker Wallet Chain is 28”/711mm. This is an awesome Wallet Chain which is well put together. All of the components are top notch and quality products.
The clevis brass pin that goes through the top of the Tuning Fork acts as a swivel which will allow the chain to rotate in a 360 degree rotation without binding or tying up. To put it simply, it's a coupling between two parts enabling one to revolve without turning the other.
This Wallet Chain consists of: 1x Medium Titanium (Ti) carabiner, 1x Small Stainless Steel carabiner, 1x Titanium (Ti)Turning Fork Rotating Swivel, 1x Stainless Steel Link Chain ⛓ and misc hardware.
Most of my titanium pieces and brass hardware are custom made by me using either a Lathe Mill Drill Press combo machine or a CNC Machine. Each and every piece is physically/visually checked by me. My standards are high and any imperfections or defects goes to the file 13 bucket which is the trash can.
My choice of material was titanium for the main components being: Carabiner and Rotating Tuning Fork Swivel. My decision to use titanium was based on these positive factors: Lightweight and strong - It has the highest strength-to-density ratio of any metallic element. It weighs almost the same as aluminum but is stronger than steel. Corrosion resistant - It is highly resistant to corrosion even in sea water and chlorine. Biocompatible - It is non-toxic, non-allergenic and perfectly compatible with the human body. Durable- It is more durable than gold and has become a popular choice for designer jewelry.
The pins, washers and spacers are brass while the chain and screws are stainless steel.
As with most of my keychains that I make, all of the materials used are corrosion resistant so it will last for a very long time.
I use Loctite Blue on all of my keychains that I make. Loctite Blue is designed for the locking and sealing of threaded fasteners and secures nuts and bolts from accidental loosening.
