Antique Rare and very Attractive Avery? Scales - Oak / Cast Iron /Brass / Marble

I have had these for over 40 years and originally displayed them in my kitchen but like make things they found their way into my loft around 30 years ago and must now go,  so though they could now could benefit from some TLC (superb if properly restored) but could equally be left in their rustic state of authenticity.

I  have included a few weights in the lists (7 total) 8oz, 1lb, 2lb, 4lb. The 4lb weight is Imperial Standard with what looks like a wax stamp in the hole on the underside.

These have a bit of all sorts of style features and I suspect where part of a high spec range, base on other similar items my best guess is that they where made by avery  in the late 1800s or early 1900s. I cannot find any exactly the same on the internet, the science museum have similar styles but not these.

Oak base with Marble top.  Cast iron Frame decorated with enamel /paint reminiscent of steam machinery of the 19th century, much of this has been lost but pattern is still clear. Brass /copper detailing and Handle. Ceramic weighing plate (corner broken off, see images).

These are very heavy, original commercial scales, possibly vegetables or meat, the ceramic item weighing plate has a piece broken off  but otherwise complete.   I suspect the  plate is a replacement for an original which likely also got damaged as the is an old counterweight on the under side of the metal weight plate (maybe suggests historical recalibration). I'm sure these items would have had availability of spares at the time

Collection in person only due to weight, located 5 minutes from Jn 15 of M6.
