~ Organic Blackberry Cuttings ~
Organic
blackberry cuttings, freshly cut and prepped to order, from plants growing in my own
organic garden and not from roadsides or public areas.
You will receive 5 cuttings.
They
will be sent carefully wrapped in damp kitchen towel to keep them as
fresh and hydrated as possible. As soon as you receive them, put them
into a small jar of water until you are able to strike them. Strike them as soon as possible: dip in hormone rooting powder (to improve the success of them taking) and then into a pot of compost suitable for cuttings; you can group all 5 in the same pot, which will help create a micro-climate for them. Water and position in a frost free place. Do not over water the pot of cuttings. They will gradually develop roots over a few months and be ready for potting up and as they grow, you can plant them out.
They are from very healthy plants which produce an abundance of lovely fruit; the leaves also make a lovely tasting tea. The leaves can also be carefully dried and stored to use later.
I do not know the variety as they were inherited with the garden.
They will be sent first class postage only to ensure that they
arrive safely and in good condition to you. Postage will only be on
Monday to Thursday inclusive, to ensure that they are not stuck in the
post over the weekend.
