Emilio Pucci (1914-1992) was born in Naples, Italy to one of Florence's oldest noble families and become one of the world's premier fashion designers. By the 1960's Pucci rose to fame when some of the last photographs ever taken of Marilyn Monroe show her wearing Pucci's designs. Throughout the decade, Pucci's designs were worn by icons such as Sophia Loren and Jackie Kennedy. Emilio Pucci's colorful designs continue to reign supreme in the fashion industry.
